Where have I been, you ask, while poking around my new, empty blog? My goal was to start a new blog in January and even with everything going on, I actually made it! Truth be told, I’m still in the middle of an extraordinary upheaval in my life and since most of it has to do with family ties, hearts, pain and maybe some more agonizing stuff thrown in for good measure, it didn't seem right for me to share my tears, screams and nightmares with those who have turned to The Desert Rocks for solace, comfort or a smile. Don’t worry things are straightening out slowly and with unshakable faith and the guiding hand of hope I’ll be back to normal silliness in no time at all.

While preparing for this new blog I came across these wonderful sayings. Have a great day and thanks for visiting!

“Reduce your plan to writing. The moment you complete this, you will have definitely given concrete form to the intangible desire.” —Napoleon Hill

“The intangible represents the real power of the universe... It is the seed of the tangible.” —Bruce Lee

“The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible and achieves the impossible.” —Winston Churchill
