P is for Pinky

Pinky is a playful, 10 yr old puppy.
(Notice the active tail in my blurred photo.)
She has been rescued twice and sometimes she gets anxious,
especially around loud noises and strangers. She has a boisterous,
deep bark that belies her 15 pounds. She hates closed doors
but loves chewing on her toys. They don't last very long.
Pinky and my other dog Fiona like to argue.
Pinky is resting in the back while Fiona stands guard.

Fiona is only 5 pounds but she scares Pinky.
In fact, Fiona scares everyone--even me.
Poor Pinky.

  1. They look happy and contented, anyway, even if they quarrel.

  2. Aww, puppies! :) I'm such a dog person... Love them all.

  3. Aw, how cute! Fiona could be mistaken for a fawn in this photo.

  4. Pinky looks so content and sweet.

Fiona looks like she could fly with those ears!

  5. Loved your comment, just scroll down the page and have a look at O and P, by doing other things I don't think I shall have many comments :0(

  6. They're both so adorable, and you've done such a wonderful thing. My rescued puppy mill dog, Dodger had at least 4 homes before we got him. Rescued animals need a lot more patience.

  7. Do you know who Fiona reminds me of ?
Remember the sweet little bunny in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
It's name should have been Fiona and not the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog.

    cheers, parsnip

  8. That's rather funny.
Pinky found a good home with you.

  9. awww....they're both super cute! Rescued pets are always so grateful. I'm so happy that they both found such a good home with you.

  10. Hey Pinky!

Your human made mention of this here pawst. Which means, I pawed back to this one.

Okay, Fiona and your pawesome self like to argue. I should come over there and "ruferee" your differences of "opawnion"

Arf! and here's too rescued furry friends.

    Pawsitive wishes,

    Penny :)
